One ripe banana, 1/2 ripe avocado, a handful of fresh baby spinach, one tablespoon honey or maple syrup for sweetness (optional), 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk (or any milk of your choice such as coconut milk, soy milk, oat milk, or regular milk), and ice cubes for a colder smoothie.

Place all the ingredients in a blender. Blend in a high-speed blender until smooth and creamy. If the mixture is too thick, add more milk or dairy-free milk (or coconut water) to reach your desired consistency.

Taste the smoothie and adjust sweetness if necessary by adding more honey or maple syrup. If you prefer a colder smoothie, add some ice cubes to the blender and blend until smooth.
